Building the Cutting Family Tree

Well I guess its that time in my life.  Today I start possibly the biggest project  I will ever undertake, building the Cutting family tree.  So first steps will be reaching out to all those Cuttings, before I go signing up to one of those genealogy sites to get as much initial information as possible.

I was lucky enough the my grandmother Elsie Annie Cutting (Harris) gave me the Book of Cutting’s which will be a handy tool for me on this journey.

If you have been involved in building your family tree please reach out and let me know what you have found is very effective (and what is not). Luckily for me I have plenty of access to sites like Linked In to help track dwon any relatives that are about and start building the pieces of the puzzle to out together.

If you are related to the family crest above its more than likely we are related.  I know our New Zealand branch of the family came here from Britain, and very soon I expect to know more…
